Toni Snow's MacKstress Era Continues With 'Won Queen,' Out Now
The independent Houston rapper follows her album THE MACKBOOK with a new single, out now after its September 4 release.
Toni Snow, the Houston rapper who performs under the stage persona MacKstress, released a new single September 4: "Won Queen," now out on streaming platforms. It follows THE MACKBOOK, the full-length project she released in 2025 and still promotes as her flagship release — its title sits permanently in her Instagram bio alongside the new single.
“THE MACKBOOK OUT NOW 💻 / Won Queen drops 9/4/26 PRESAVE NOW 🎼”

Snow performs as a woman under the MacKstress persona, using she/her pronouns. She's based in Houston, works independently, and books shows and appearances through AZAP Mgmt, the management contact listed in her own bio. Her Spotify artist page reportedly describes her sound as Southern rap and separately calls out a "distinctive orange aesthetic" as her visual identity — a self-description this pass could not independently confirm beyond that one page (see note).
The catalog behind THE MACKBOOK

Snow's Spotify and Apple Music pages list matching discographies, independently confirming a run of releases built up since 2019: "Choose or Lose" (2019), "MAC" and "Ten Fourty-Eight" (2021), "Idlewild" (2023), "Help Me freestyle" and "Funyuns" (2024), then a heavier 2025 — the album THE MACKBOOK alongside two companion releases, $our Cream & Funyun$ and Hot Funyun$, plus "Clock IT" and "Hangover St" — the latter a feature with BayBay Forreal. A newer single, "Zodiac Freak," is already out from 2026 — all released before "Won Queen" dropped.
Snow doesn't carry a Billboard chart entry, a certification, or a major-label deal that could be independently verified, and that isn't why she's worth covering. She's an independent artist assembling a catalog release by release, on her own schedule, in a genre whose on-camera and on-stage standard has a long, well-documented history of running narrow. Putting out eight-plus distinct releases in six years while holding a consistent visual identity together is its own kind of track record.
