Jet ran Beauty of the Week for decades. It was never a survey and it was never every woman who applied. It was the most beautiful woman in the room, chosen on purpose, printed every week — and the standard it set outlived the magazine that set it.
Corpulent Queen is that, for fat women.
A new Queen every week. She is not selected for being brave about her body. She is selected because she is the most interesting person you will read about that week — because she is funny, or formidable, or building something, or because she walks into a room and rearranges it. The crown is not encouragement. It is recognition.
Submissions are open. We read every one.
Put Her Forward
A few short answers and two photos — yourself, or someone who’d never do it on her own. We read every submission and you’ll hear back either way. Nothing is published unless she’s crowned, and if you’re submitting someone else, not unless she agrees to it herself.
